One month since CorEuStem MC annual meeting

The first CorEuStem Annual meeting already took place a month ago, on 29th-30th June 2022, in the sunny Castelldefels, Spain.

Management Committee (MC) members from 28 countries of the 36 belonging to CorEuStem COST Action met in the same room to discuss common strategies to foster Stem Cell & Gene Editing research, aiming to standardise methodologies across Core Facilities and Labs in Europe.
On the first day, MC members gathered to share information about stem cells and gene editing facilities operating in each country and the different technologies in use. An essential step for further strengthen our network and to identify potential collaborations and assets within the COST.
On the second day, WG leaders and co-leaders reported the results of the first few months of operation and the outputs achieved so far. WG meetings also took place for fruitful discussions regarding the upcoming steps for next year. Besides gathering technologies and seeking for procedures standardization, training schools, meetings and webinars are planned for the following months and will be noticed shortly.
