Human iPSC – hands-on training course

Human iPSC – hands-on training course

We are thrilled to announce upcoming CorEuStem hands-on training/workshop on induced pluripotent stem cell derivation & culturing. During this training, you will learn the mostly used techniques and protocols for generating induced pluripotent stem cells. Upon completion of this training, participants will:

  • Have knowledge about the somatic cell reprogramming by Sendai Virus, RNA and Episomal plasmid
  • Learn about the critical steps of iPSC derivation, culture/passaging, characterization and cryopreservation
  • Evaluate the recovery of iPSCs and identify viable cells
  • Identify the morphology of iPS cells as colony and single cell by using differentpassaging techniques
  • Identify and troubleshoot critical aspects in the passaging and maintenance ofundifferentiated iPSCs

Target audience: PhD Students, Postdocs, Early Career Researchers, Principal Investigators, Investigators, Technicians (CorEuStem members only). Participants will be selected according to their CV, motivation and two letters of recommendation.

Registration fees: The course is free of charge

Cost: All the expenses for travel, accommodation and meals are fully funded by CorEUStem Cost Action CA20140
