WG1

Description

WG1 aimed to define the set of protocols to be evaluated and to be put in common from the reprogramming, iPSC maintenance and culture, 2D differentiation, and 3D organoids. Furthermore, WG1 identified new technologies arising in the field to be evaluated for the network.

Tasks

  • Define, annually, the set of common procedures to be evaluated within the network.
  • Promoting, integrating and refining experimental techniques, design adequate instrumentation coordinating efforts between research teams to adopt different / complementary techniques or inventing synergistic approaches.

Activities

  • Continuous communication through the network forum and e-mailing list.
  • Teleconference meeting in Q2, Q4, Q6, Q8, Q10, Q12, Q14 & Q16 to summarise and implement tasks among the working group.
  • Participation and presentation of results in annual symposium in Q4, Q8, Q12 and Q16.
  • Participation in annual training in Q2, Q6, Q10 and Q14.

Major Deliverables

  • WG1 annual report with activities and Action progress in Q4.
  • WG1 meeting minutes in Q2, Q4, Q6, Q8, Q10, Q12, Q14 & Q16.
  • Annual WG1 comprehensive member data base including protocols, instruments, tests and expertise available from each site. Continuous update procedures database compilation ready for webpage update in Q2, Q4, Q6, Q8, Q10, Q12, Q14 and Q16.
  • Report in new technologies emerging, leading research labs, and industries to interact and how in Q4, Q8, Q12 and Q16.

Structure

Meet the other Working Groups

WG2: Consolidated and Emerging Gene Editing Technologies

WG2 defined the set of reagents, technologies, and procedures associated with gene editing and CRISPR/CAS technologies.

WG3: Quality Control Standardization and Harmonization

WG3 evaluated and benchmarked protocols, reagents and procedures used across facilities. WG3 represented the framework enabling this comparison, identifying and establishing standardised best practice with respect to general public and quality control procedures, thereby facilitating harmonisation through dissemination and adoption.

WG4: Training and Professional Development

WG4 designed, organised, and developed training events, workshops, and webinars on subjects related to WG1, WG2, and WG3.

WG5: Network Building and Strengthening

The objective of WG5 is to build, grow, and strengthen the ties between members of the CorEuStem Action as well as attracting new members. WG5 organised annual meetings and smaller workshops to disseminate information, discuss the latest findings, and showcase and share newly developed technologies.

WG6: Transversal Management, Exploitation and Dissemination

WG6 managed and worked transversally to integrate and evolve the different technologies and actions in the network, the interactions. WG6 worked on the transversal exploitation and dissemination plan for the network, identified and promoted sustainability plans for the network and targeted stakeholders and industry partners.
