Title: Transient Naive Treatment (TNT) Reprogramming iPSC
Date: 20 February 2025
Time: 10:00 CET
Location: Zoom (Zoom link will be sent the day before the event))
The Transient Naive Treatment (TNT) reprogramming method, which briefly introduces naive media early in the reprogramming process, effectively erases epigenetic memory and produces induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells more similar to human embryonic stem (hES) cells than conventional reprogramming. TNT reprogramming was shown to mitigate reprogramming-induced epigenetic aberrations, particularly in regions marked by H3K9me3, lamin-B1, and aberrant CpH methylation, without impacting genomic imprinting. Furthermore, Sendai virus expression is absent in TNT iPSCs, reinforcing its potential as a standard for biomedical applications.
